This notice is for hotel administrators who connect an existing Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property to the TATIOSA Presence reporting dashboard. This connection is optional, read-only and separate from the hotel's website tracking setup.
1. Google authorization requested
When you select Connect Google account, Google presents its own authorization screen. Presence requests the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly. This is read-only access to Google Analytics information associated with the Google account you authorize. Presence does not request permission to create, delete or modify Google Analytics properties, tags or reports in Google.
2. Exactly which Google data is accessed
- GA4 account/property names, property identifiers and data-stream measurement identifiers, so you can identify the correct property.
- Aggregated reporting metrics from the property you select, currently total users/visitors, sessions, page/screen views, engagement rate, daily active users and top page paths.
- Authorization information issued by Google, including an OAuth refresh token used to obtain short-lived access tokens while reporting remains connected.
We do not use this authorization to read Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Ads, or payment information.
3. Purpose and benefit
Presence uses authorized GA4 information only to help the hotel display its own website statistics inside the Presence web and mobile experience, allow the user to select and validate a matching existing GA4 property, and troubleshoot that specific reporting feature. Reports are available only through the corresponding hotel's authenticated Presence account and access controls.
4. Storage and security
Presence stores the selected GA4 property ID and name plus an encrypted Google refresh token in a hotel-specific record in Cloudflare D1. The application encrypts the refresh token using AES-GCM; the encryption key is held as a Cloudflare Worker secret. The application retrieves temporary access tokens from Google's OAuth token endpoint when required. Aggregated report results are cached per hotel, property and reporting interval in Cloudflare KV for approximately 15 minutes.
5. Sharing, sale and AI use
Presence does not sell Google Analytics data, use it for advertisements or advertising targeting, share it with unrelated hotels, or provide it to generative AI models for training. Authorized members of the relevant hotel may view their hotel's reports. Cloudflare processes data only as necessary to provide underlying hosting, storage and caching; Google provides the authorized Analytics APIs. We do not disclose Google API data to unrelated third parties except where legally required. Our use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy and its applicable Limited Use requirements.
6. Disconnect and delete authorization
In the hotel's Presence SEO / Google Analytics settings, select Disconnect reports. Presence deletes that hotel's GA4 reporting connection, including its encrypted refresh token, from its active database. Previously cached reports expire automatically after their short cache lifetime. This does not delete historical data in Google Analytics and does not change the hotel's website Measurement ID or tracking. Presence does not automatically revoke the Google account's broader authorization at Google; you can additionally revoke access from Google account connections.
7. Google Analytics tracking versus reporting
The hotel's configured G-… Measurement ID causes its published website to send usage events to Google's tracking infrastructure, where enabled. Connecting Presence for reporting merely permits Presence to read the existing property's data. Disconnecting reporting alone does not disable the website's tracking tag. The hotel controls its tracking configuration and any visitor privacy or cookie-consent notices.
